In 1979 he founded, in Udine, his Design Agency "DI BARTOLOMEI DESIGN AGENCY" and established international collaborations that led to the creation of associated offices in New York, Brendale Brisbane Qld (AU). He is active in industrial & strategic design, interior design, corporate image, architecture, and exhibition stands design. Realizations of his projects have been selected and exhibited in the most important museums of the world including: "MOMA", the Museum of Modern Art in New York. A professor of design in several universities, he has lectured and published a variety of articles on the topic. His work has been included in the prestigious "The Museum of Modern Art Design Encyclopedia" published by MoMa in New York. In the sphere of Yacht Design, he was the first in the world to conceptualize and create the new “Vaporetti” Waterbuses for the city of Venice. Several awards have been won by his projects designed for the most qualified industries in a wide range of sectors. In particular, in 2016 the WRAP executive office seating collection, designed for Linea Fabbrica, was selected as a finalist for the Product Design Awards - Index Dubai 2016 as one of the best products in the Furniture-Residential category.
